Theresa Battles-Burton is CEO of Abundant Works Enrichment Services, LLC; (previously Abundant Life Quality Care, LLC), founded in 2012. Theresa has been working with the elderly and developmentally disabled individuals for 19+ years, helping to increase their self-outlook and quality of life.
Theresa believes that there is never a time in someone’s life that they are not learning. She believes that no one should ever be put in a box because there is always room for growth. Theresa has been integral in helping many individuals with extreme behavioral and emotional challenges to see the good in themselves which has ultimately helped to bring about a positive transformation in them, which in turn enhanced their lives.
“Positivity is what I'm about! I work really hard to maintain a positive
outlook on life even trying to see the good in bad situations. When bad situations come I often look for life lessons in them. I call them ministry tools.”
Theresa, who was born and raised in Akron, Ohio, is also known throughout her community for being a local gospel artist, having recorded a cd entitled ‘Simply Amazing’ and has been a praise and worship leader at various churches around the Akron area.
Theresa has two published books, entitled ‘New View’ and 'Big GOD!. Theresa is mother to 3 grown children Ciara, Diamond and Justus; and a proud NaNa to 5 grandsons Chylin, J’miere, Rayshawene, Ziyar, and Zayne and two great-granddaughters Chaylin and Mahliya.
